I’m sitting my fat ass on the couch and posting this post

On my new baby.  And I love her.  Except I have to learn to type on this keyboard.  Mine at work and on the dinosaur are both ergo so this post is brought to you by the word teh and heavy use of the backspace button.

Moving on.

We had dinner at MIL’s house tonight.  That is always fun.  We picked up the grandparents (TheMan’s grandma is 90 and his papa is 88).  Anyway, we pick them up and drive them to MIL’s house.  The dramas are already there.  We’re sitting at the dinner table and papa gets up to go to the restroom again.  He goes to the restroom a lot.  He has Alzheimer’s and he makes messes when he uses the facilities.  He also had diabetes so when he gets up to roam around, all eyes are on him to make sure he doesn’t get anything sugary or mess in stuff.  He is almost like having a toddler in the house.

Anyway, papa comes walking back to the table and grandma says “papa, do up your zipper.  When are you going to stop doing that” and papa says as he zips up “when the girls stop looking.”

  3. My FIL is just starting this now. After weeks of begging him to use the scooter we paid for, he finally did and held up traffic driving in circles during rush hour! The toddler comparision is right on the mark! Good Luck to your family from ours!
