Because well, it’s 3:32 a.m. and I’m up:
My 10 favorite books. It is very difficult to choose and I’m probably forgetting a few (because really, narrowing it down to 10 is hard!)(in no particular order):
1. The Talisman by Peter Straub and Steven King . I loved this book so much that when its sequel, Black House, came out, I re-read the Talisman and then read Black House in a four day period.
2. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl. This is the first real book I remember reading as a kid (I was 9 years old).
3. Pride & Prejudice by Jane Austen. I just loved the story.
4. To Kill a Mocking Bird by Harper Lee. Because, well, duh.
5. The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas, père. The second book I ever remember reading as a kid.
6. Madame Bovary by Gustave Flaubert - I totally understood her.
7. A Time to Kill by John Grisham - my favorite book EVER!
8. Sex with Kings by Eleanor Herman - this book was so dirty and I loved every minute of it!
9. The Innocent Man by John Grisham - One of the saddest books I’ve ever read.
10. You had me at Woof by Julie Klam - because doggies are the bestest ever!
